A leading charitable organisation based just outside Glasgow's City Centre have a permanent role for a Financial Controller.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the day to day running of all accounts and finance functions
Review and authorise VAT returns
Prepare monthly management accounts
Produce accurate reports
Oversee reconciliation of relevant control accounts
Provide assistance to managers in the preparation of fund applications an grant claims
Identify training needs of the Finance Team and organise training as appropriate
Supervise and delegate appropriately with in the finance team
Ad-hoc finance duties
The ideal candidate must have experience of managing a small team, knowledge of Sage Line 50 and have experience within the public sector financial monitoring and audit systems.
