Our client is a highly successful manufacturing and service organisation operating in the animal health, hygiene and biosecurity sectors. Currently our client is seeking to recruit an experienced Quality Technician to join its team, in what it views as a key role within it’s business.

 The role of Quality Technician is positioned at the interface with the suppliers and provides the testing and data to support the business quality systems, both to GMP and BSI ISO9001:2000 standards. The successful candidate would also be expected to have an input into strategic quality areas for the business such as continual improvement and operational excellence.  Reporting into the Quality Manager, this position is full time, with daytime working hours.

 The ideal candidate will have a scientific background and a minimum of one year's previous experience in quality/analytical laboratory testing gained within a manufacturing environment. Experience of working within an accredited quality environment such as GMP or BSI is also essential. The ability to work within a fast-moving, demanding environment, managing relationships with clients, suppliers and staff while meeting and exceeding quality performance objectives is key to the role and candidates will need to be able to demonstrate this.

 This role may be suitable for a recent graduate with a year's placement in a QC environment, more experienced applicants are also welcome.
